The Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 is designed to protect those adults who are unable to safeguard their own interests and are at risk of harm because they are affected by: disability; mental disorder; illness; physical or mental infirmity.

Frequently asked questions
What is the lead time to set up training sessions?
Ideally, we need 4-6 weeks, but this can be discussed on a case by case basis. If you have a more urgent need for training then contact us here.
How large a group can you provide training to?
Groups can be of any size, subject to room capacity and applicable COVID regulations and protocols.
Our training requires specific training space/training equipment, can you accommodate this?
We can use your training space and equipment, if you have them. If you don’t no problems, we’ll source them for you.
Can you offer half-day training sessions?
We can offer a full-day session covering two half-day topics, but we don’t offer single half-day sessions.
How will participants access their certification?
We manage attendee certificates via our Learning Management System, Qintil. Each attendee will have their unique Qintil account, which will allow them to access all certificates and provide them with a permanet and transferable record of their training.
Is there a flat rate for training?
Almost all of our courses begin a rate of £400 per day, but we can work with you to create a bespoke package to meet your organisations needs.
